DDS: Doctor of Dental SurgeryA dental degree.
MSc: Master of ScienceA graduate degree.
DABOI/ID: Diplomate, American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant DentistryBoard certification in implant dentistry, earned by passing the board's written and oral examinations.
DICOI: Diplomate, International Congress of Oral ImplantologistsThe organization's highest credential, which includes documented implant cases, implant education and examinations.
FAAID: Fellow, American Academy of Implant DentistryA credential based on implant education, experience in implant dentistry and an examination.
FAGD: Fellow, Academy of General DentistryAwarded for completing extensive continuing education and passing a comprehensive exam.
