What is sedation dentistry?
Sedation dentistry uses medicine to help you feel relaxed during dental care. It is meant to make the visit easier for people who feel anxious or uneasy in the dental chair.
Sedation helps you relax. Numbing medicine (local anesthetic) is typically still used to keep the treatment area comfortable.

Sedation and dental implants
